GREYHAVEN FIELD MANUAL · STRATEGIC RACING / 08

STRATEGIC RACING.
BUILD THE PLAN.
OWN THE ROUTE.

Racing is a server-authoritative championship across thirteen tracks, twenty-six directions and five distinct formats. Build the machine, author the engineer plan, override decisive live moments, and replay every consequence without mandatory attendance.

FIVE FORMAT CONTRACTS

THE RULES CHANGE—NOT ONLY THE BACKDROP.

Every format exposes its own objective and resources before entry. Your choices change pace and control; purchase price alone never decides the finish.

  1. 01Sprint

One short run rewards launch execution and decisive overtakes; regular pit stops are disabled.

  2. 02Circuit

Real laps add tire evolution, pit windows, undercuts, and a fastest-lap bonus.

  3. 03Endurance

Fuel, heat, wear, repair, and survival matter as much as outright pace.

  4. 04Elimination

Fixed cutoffs remove the last runner permanently and turn every split into pressure.

  5. 05Time Attack

Contact is disabled; ghost deltas, valid sectors, and personal best time decide the board.

PREPARED

Your engineer can finish without you

Sector pace plus weather, pit, and mechanical rules are frozen at entry. Missing a live window uses the disclosed default and never abandons the vehicle.

LIVE, NOT REQUIRED

Three overrides add agency

Launch, midfield, and finale show the same disclosed information used by the automatic rule. The override changes intent, not hidden access or paid power.

TRACEABLE

The chassis remembers

Fuel, tires, condition, tuning, familiarity, rating, and decisive incidents settle into one replay and permanent vehicle history.

TEAMS AND CUSTOM SERIES

BUILD A PADDOCK WITHOUT BUYING POWER.

  • Crew and Company teams field two to six drivers; only the best two results score each round.
  • Constructor identity is frozen with the vehicle at entry and survives later sales or rebuilds.
  • Custom series use approved templates and fully escrowed entries but never change official rating.
  • Official low-population grids use bounded server ghosts that receive no economy rewards.

FAIR RACE CONTROL

WATCH THE ACTION. KEEP THE RECEIPT.

  • The server freezes every vehicle and strategy snapshot.
  • Reconnects and duplicate commands cannot create a second entry.
  • Opponent builds stay private while positions and visible incidents remain readable.
  • Reduced Motion exposes the complete race as stable sector states.

KNOW THE SYSTEM. CHOOSE YOUR MOVE.

TURN THE GUIDE INTO A BUILD.

You do not need to memorize Greyhaven before entering it. Start with one direction and let the connected systems teach the rest.
