CREW OPERATIONS.
BUILD THE RIGHT TEAM.

Crew Operations are generated cooperative stories in which different operators prepare verified roles, reserve their own assets, and own separate story-critical decisions. A fixed Crew is optional: a host can recruit privately, through an existing Crew, or across the global operator network.

CORE CONTRACT

Cooperate because another specialist may qualify for a role your current build cannot cover—not because a mission merely asks for extra bodies.

DECISION SURFACE

Decisions that define Crew Operations.

  • Who owns each Spotlight role and which verified build makes that assignment credible.
  • Whether the lobby stays private, recruits an existing Crew, or opens globally.
  • Which assets and response defaults each operator is willing to lock.
  • How to answer the result through treasury, recovery, trust, district presence, or another operation.

FORMAT BOUNDARY

What makes Crew Operations distinct.

Global recruiting is a visibility choice, not a separate “Global Operation” type. Crew Operations use the same causal operation rules as solo content, but bind the final story to the actual roster and prevent one powerful player from replacing the whole team.

COMMITMENT CHECK

KNOW THE RULES BEFORE YOU LOCK THE PLAN.

Do I need to belong to a permanent Crew?

No. A host can create an ad-hoc operation and recruit privately or globally. Existing Crews add a trusted recruiting and history layer, not an entry requirement.

What happens if someone misses a live decision?

Only a previously authored safe default can resolve that decision. A timeout never invents generic replacement text or transfers ownership to one dominant player.

Do all participants receive the same reward?

Shared success matters, but personal contribution, committed assets, role ownership, and caps determine each operator’s settlement.
